CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
1. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
HINT:
A momentary interruption (open circuit) in the connectors and/or wire harnesses between the sensors and ECUs can be detected using the ECU Data List function of the Techstream.
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Follow the directions on the Techstream to display the Data List and select areas where momentary interruptions should be monitored.

(f) While observing the screen, gently jiggle the connector or wire harness between the ECU and sensors, or between ECUs.
OK:
Normal is displayed.
HINT:
If the display changes, the connector and/or the wire harness has caused a momentary interruption of the circuit. Repair or replace the connector and/or wire harness as one of them is faulty.
Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Circuit Open (P074513)
DESCRIPTION
Changing from 1st to 6th is performed by the ECM turning shift solenoid valves
SL1, SL2, SL3 and SL4 on and off. If an open or short circuit occurs in any of the
shift solenoid valves, the ECM controls the remaining normal shift solenoid valves
to allow the vehicle to be operated ...
Clearance Sonar Main Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The back sonar or clearance sonar switch assembly is installed at the base of
the driver side of the instrument panel.
When the back sonar or clearance sonar switch assembly is turned on, an on signal
is sent to the clearance warning ECU assembly. The intuitive parking assist syste ...
Heater Circuit (C1AAE)
DESCRIPTION
The forward recognition camera controls the current supplied to the camera heater
(forward recognition hood).
If the forward recognition camera detects a malfunction in the camera heater
(forward recognition hood) circuit, DTC C1AAE is stored.
DTC No.
Detecti ...
